Bonnie has to raise a couple of thousand dollars to walk in the The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers later this year. She teamed up with a couple of friends and they need to raise $6,000 between the three of them. We played a fundraising event at the Irish Embassy Pub on Bishop street. No, it’s not THE Irish Embassy but it sounds great!
We raised $800 from raffle ticket sales. Thank you so much to the sponsors (Marco Polo Deluxe Car Wash, Joshua DAVID clothing store, Michelle the Bead Lead Jewelry Designer, Perform All Gym, and others). Also, someone paid $40 to come and sing with Bonnie and the guys. Rock on!

Ok, so we didn’t win this year’s battle of the bands at the Rawdon Golf Course Country Club but as usual, it was a lot of fun! The competition was stiffer than ever, with 8 bands competing. The order of the bands was chosen by luck of the draw which was unfortunate because we ended up getting on stage second. It’s always nicer to play a little later in the competition, especially since we were one of the only bands that played popular music that the crowd really got into. Ah well, there’s always next year!

Btw, there was a confirmation of booking error meaning Chom’s Peter Marier wasn’t the host this year and everything seemed a tad more serious but it was still a blast!
For the third straight year, we’re competing in the Rawdon Battle of the Bands. Come out for a great time! Peter Marier from 97.7 CHOM FM has hosted the last two and with hundreds of drunk partying people in the room, it was a blast!
This year it takes place on Saturday January 16 at the Rawdon Golf Course Country Club.
Happy New Year everyone! Have a great one!
After years of hearing about how this website was coming “someday” it’s finally available to all! Yes, it still needs some work but it’s all good!
